Reigate Grammar School Nanjing

RGS Nanjing is located at the Qilin Innovation Park on an impressive 25-acre site. The school opened to great excitement in September 2020. Now, in its second year of operation the school’s Kindergarten is flourishing. The construction of the school is being developed and completed in phases, the main junior school building will open in September 2022 housing Grade 1 to 8, and the senior school will follow in 2023. RGS Nanjing will grow organically, and it is expected to reach its full capacity of 2,400 students by the ninth year of operation.
As the first RGS school overseas, RGS Nanjing is at the vanguard of our RGS China and RGS International projects. Under the guidance of Foreign Principal Dr. Marc Coleman and Principal Chen Jing the school is going from strength to strength.

“East-meets-West” is a strong theme in the school’s philosophy for education and the curriculum will reflect the coming together of Chinese and British curricula and pedagogical approaches. The vision is to develop responsible global citizens with a strong sense of their cultural heritage, fully prepared for the competitive marketplace they will join as young adults. The school will strive to empower students to be creative and innovative leaders and will provide an academic education that open doors of opportunity and extra-curricular experiences to inspire and create pathways to future success.

The school’s state of the art campus was designed by the award-winning team at Broadway-Malyan and is being resourced with no expense spared. RGS Nanjing is a wonderful and rich learning environment and acts as a great template for the development of our upcoming schools in China.
