RGS Vietnam pupils, teachers and parents visit RGS UK

In an exciting collaboration between RGS and RGS Vietnam, we at RGS UK were thrilled to facilitate a cultural and educational exchange aimed at fostering connections and mutual learning. We were honoured to host a delegation from RGSV, introducing them to world renowned UK universities including Oxford, Cambridge, and UCL, while also ensuring the saw the best of Britain during their 10-day tour.

An incredibly busy itinerary offered the visiting students an immersive experience, engaging in cultural, sports, and musical activities alongside their RGS UK counterparts. Highlights included enlightening discussions on the diverse histories, cultures, and educational systems of our nations, as the pupils enjoyed time to get to know each other and build potentially life long friendships. The visit culminated with both RGSV and RGS UK students collaborating on a memorable concert, marking the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-UK diplomatic ties. The performance brought the Vietnamese Ambassador H.E. Mr Long to his feet and he spoke with great pride about what the pupils had achieved.

Through this enriching visit, our guests from RGS Vietnam gained profound insights into British education and culture, forging lasting bonds with the RGS UK community.
